Caller ID

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ

  1. CONFIRM MODEL
Before purchasing, confirm the model and interface type you need with your software vendor. Alternatively, you can use this product selection guide.

  2. SELECT YOUR MODEL AND INTERFACE TYPE
Use the dropdown menu above to choose the appropriate model and interface type.

  3. CHOOSE YOUR SOFTWARE VENDOR
Select the name of your software vendor from the dropdown menu above.

  4. FOR SERIAL PORT CONNECTIVITY
If your unit requires serial port connectivity but your PC lacks serial ports, you can order the Whozz DB9-Serial to USB converter (available above for an additional $38.00). This allows Whozz Caller ID boxes to function via USB ports instead of DB9-Serial connections.

  5. ORDER VERIFICATION
We may contact you to confirm your order before processing and shipping.

COMPATIBILITY NOTICE
The Whozz Calling Basic and Deluxe analog caller ID models are compatible only with:

  • Analog phone systems.
  • VoIP-digital phone systems equipped with an analog converter box or analog conversion system.

If your phone system meets these criteria and supports standard RJ cable connections, the Basic and Deluxe models should work, provided they are also compatible with your POS software.

INCOMPATIBLE SETUPS
The Basic and Deluxe models will not function with true VoIP phone systems. These include setups where phones connect directly via Ethernet cables, without support for standard RJ cable connections.

FOR TRUE VoIP PHONE SYSTEMS
If you have a true VoIP phone system (phones directly connected via Ethernet cables), you will need the VoIP Vertex models.

Note: The Vertex models are designed to work exclusively with standard, non-encrypted SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) signaling provided by VoIP providers. While most VoIP providers use non-encrypted SIP, confirm this with your telephony provider before placing an order.
